Does God Exist? What Can We Know About God?

Christopher Kaczor, Ph.D.

In this series, we consider major questions about God, faith, and reason. These questions include, “Is it reasonable to believe that God exists?” In considering this question, we examine at the Kalam cosmological argument as well as the Five Ways of St. Thomas Aquinas. Next, we consider some major objections to the Five Ways, and in the following lectures, we look at how Thomas Aquinas might answer these objections. Rather than pitting faith against reason, Thomas advocates a reasonable faith and a faithful reason. This series presents an introduction to these ideas which are more important than ever in the contemporary world.
